Cloud, Desktop or Roaming Deployments

Outreach EMR can be used in areas with strong internet access to more remote areas with limited technology infrastructure.

There are 3 types of deployment:

CLOUD (Hosted Site) -  If you have stable internet connection, you have your own cloud site accessed by each user via a link on your dedicated secure web server. All staff have unique username and password for access. Remote secure access for external monitoring and training opportunities. Data backup is constant and secure. Cloud connection allows Outreach EMR  external access for maintenance and updating with minimal disruption to your busy clinic.

STAND ALONE / DESKTOP OPTION - For areas with no or limited internet service we offer this system. You operate a standalone copy of Outreach EMR on a suitable laptop, which acts as a server. The laptop is linked to a router which the user device link to. The great benefit of this system is that it can be used anywhere with intermittent electricity or connectivity. The laptop needs internet to download Outreach EMR and achieve updates. Desktop systems are allocated a cloud site so whenever your laptop connects to  teh internet it will backup and secure your data. This desktop system will need internet to link with DHIS2.

ROAMING - Users have long requested a way of taking Outreach EMR to remote communities. This is now possible in areas with or without reliable internet. Basically, you designate a laptop as your ‘roaming’ device. This has a copy of your system with patient data present. This laptop is taken to remote sites and used as normal. When the device is returned to the clinic it will automatically synch the added data to your hosted service/main server laptop.
